The Tezhuna, an indigenous group from the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Colombia, journey to Philadelphia to share their ancient unbroken wisdom and powerful healing ceremonies. Embrace this rare and honorable opportunity to connect directly with Tezhuna leaders and their teachings rooted in harmony with Mother Earth.
❈ Why are they returning to Philadelphia?
In 2019, the Tezhuna visited Philadelphia for the first time in history, offering ancient wisdom, prayers, and healing for the whole region.
Now, hearing the call once more, the elders return for a deeper and longer visit:
◦•≫ to listen to how the land is doing today
◦•≫ to engage more broadly with the community
◦•≫ and to offer new ceremonies, healings, and daily practices.
This journey also supports fundraising for two sacred educational projects in the Tezhuna homeland.

❈ The Spirit of the Gift:
We want to emphasize very intentionally that the spirit of this Tezhuna visit is one of reciprocal honoring and mutual offering of gifts.
To participate in an event is to support the noble work of the Tezhuna Foundation of Sierra Nevada, as all net proceeds will go directly to the following two projects in the Tezhuna homeland of Colombia:
· 1. Youth Education & Empowerment - A special initiative to train the younger generations in the sacred, ancestral medicine practices. This project is of highest importance to empower youth to stay connected with their ancestral heritage and to control their own healing journeys. Research gathered from this project will contribute to scaling the initiative to populations outside of the Sierra Nevada.
· 2. Temple & Community Center - The construction of a new temple and community center in the Kogi tribal territory, which is the hub of educating Tezhuna spiritual elders. This project will support all generations of Tezhuna leaders to empower the strongest health and most robust spiritual and daily practices.
All gifts, including event purchases, are non-refundable.
