We've been singing together for two years! Come celebrate with songs and stories! We'll have a (dare I say?) fairly complete list of the songs we've sung over the past twelve months, and everyone will be free to lead an old favorite, or teach something new!We sing the first Monday of every month from 5:30-8:00pm at FERGIE'S PUB (12th and Sansom, 3 blocks from City Hall in Center City Philadelphia). Everyone is welcome! Feel free to bring any song you can sing or teach by ear. Or just come to sing along.
And you definitely don't have to be a "good singer"...whatever that means! We've sung shanties, drinking songs, labor songs, work songs, old-time gospel songs, call-and-response songs, verse-and-chorus songs, and the occasional round. Instruments are welcome, but not needed.
