WHAT TO EXPECT
An afternoon of heart-opening harmony singing in the gorgeous Brighton Unitarian Church (and optionally on the steps outside too!). Free from judgement & perfectionism, these circles are open to all and offer an opportunity to simply bask in the joys of communal singing in the here and now. Nervous & self-critical singers are especially welcome and no preparation is required, just turn up (all songs will be taught on the night through call & response).
WHAT WILL WE SING?
We'll warm up with some improvised circlesinging led by our experienced facilitator George Montagu before exploring a journey of short prepared harmony songs designed to get us out of our heads and into our hearts.
[OPTIONAL FRINGE FUN!]
As an optional extra, we’ll be gathering a little earlier than usual (1:30pm) to learn a short song together (probably 'We Are Worthy' from the first workshop) in the church , then take it out onto the front steps - sharing some joyful harmonies with the bustling Fringe crowd before the main event begins.
Should be a bit of a spectacle, so do join us if you can :)
Note: this will be filmed and may be used on social media, so please only join if you’re happy to be featured.

Matt (attendee)
“George is a soulful, generous and joyful burst of sunlight, brimming with musical creativity and infectious enthusiasm. The very embodiment of a pleasure to work with.”
