Meets each Thursday for four weeks. This is the class for people who want to know how the whole bike works from end to end.About this Event
This class is for folks who want to learn how to work on their bikes from stem-to-stern. Meets from 6:30-8:30pm 3/26, 4/2, 4/9, and 4/16. Lead Mechanic Tanner Algers will teach participants how to work on their bicycles to bring them up-to-snuff.
Participants will learn:
- Bottom bracket maintenance and installation
- Headset maintenance and installation
- Wheel truing and hub maintenance
- Rim brake maintenance
- Disc brake maintenance
- Mechanical shifting maintenance
- Cable and housing installation
Participants are invited to bring their own bikes, but we do have plenty of stunt bikes to work on if needed.
Participants must wear closed-toe shoes to all classes and appropriate clothing that can get quite dirty without tears shed.
