WTF is Fuckup Nights?
Failure is a part of any success story, but we don't talk about it enough. We've all been to plenty of events where people tell you how they hacked, hustled, and created their success, but very few where someone gets up and says "I totally messed up, and this is what you can learn from it."
Fuckup Nights Toronto is part of a global speaker series where stories of failed businesses and projects are shared. Each speaker is given 10 minutes and is able to use 10 images. After each speaker, there’s a Q&A session, as well as time for mingling and drinks!
Agenda:
6:30 - 7:15 pm: Registration, meeting fellow community members
7:15 - 8:45pm: Fuckup presentations + Q&A
8:45 - 11:00pm: DJ and more mingling with fellow community members!

Prior to that, Vincent built some pretty cool s**t including: an e-commerce agency with $1M in annual sales, a marketplace startup hitting $150K in its first year, and a streetwear charity project with $40K in under three months. He’s also passionate about giving back to the design community and mentoring fellow designers.

Sara used to play with numbers; now she plays with toys. After twelve years in public accounting, the pandemic led her to a career shift. Seeking engaging, durable toys for her kids, she designed an eleven-piece play couch that inspires creativity, reduces clutter, and keeps kids entertained with endless possibilities.

Andrew is a product leader at Vertical City, a startup revolutionizing engagement for property managers and advertisers. With over 10 years of experience in product management, marketing, and entrepreneurship, he's passionate about crafting products that solve real problems, delight users, and drive growth. He's also Board Member and Events Lead at the Toronto Product Management Association, helping to build and support the local product community.
