Sourdough curious? Come learn from the best as FSM welcomes Night Work Bread’s owner and head baker Leigh Rathner. Leigh and his partner Cindy Rosenberg will lead a hands-on sourdough class in FSM’s studio kitchen.
Participants will learn all about making sourdough, proofing, shaping and scoring, stretching and folding, care and feeding of starter, the basics of flours, and more. Appropriate for first-timers and sourdough aficionados alike. Class size limited, so sign up today.
Come bake, taste, and talk all things sourdough!
Each ticket includes:
- All materials needed for class
- Hands-on class instruction
- Your proofed and shaped loaf of bread to bake at home, in a proofing basket
- A take-home jar of starter
- Snacks from the FSM kitchen, and sourdough bites from Night Work
About Night Work Bread
Night Work is an all-sourdough, organic bakery and cafe in Ballston Spa, NY. It was founded by Leigh Rathner, a former film and TV cameraman, and his wife CIndy Rosenberg, an acupuncturist, in 2021. They are self-taught and are driven by a commitment to healthy, delicious food and quality ingredients. Franklin Square is proud to carry Night Work’s bread in its Saratoga store.
