About this Event
Join us for Open Mic Night on Wednesday, April 1 from 5 – 8 PM! This event is open to musical groups, solo-artists, poets, storytellers, and creatives of all kinds.
- Burn a mixtape with The Roar: Bring a USB with your favorite tracks or choose from a curated list by FIU’s student radio station.
- Design your mixtape: Make collages and illustrations with the Art History Student Association.
- Need inspiration? STRIKE Magazine will be on hand with prompts and a short exercise to help you think poetically.
Performances will take place in the order of check-in. All performance pieces must demonstrate respect for all individuals.

The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU operates in accordance with the latest guidelines from FIU and the to ensure the health and safety of the public and staff.

- All visitors will practice social distancing during their visit with anyone not in their household group. Children must stay with adults at all times.
- No large bags or backpacks are permitted in the galleries. Visitors may put backpacks or bags in unmonitored cubbies or in our coat check.

The Frost Art Museum strives to maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for all visitors. We also take our role as guardians of the objects in our care very seriously. Please enjoy all that the museum has to offer and observe the policies listed here to help protect and preserve the art on view in the museum. Please do not touch any objects on display; the salts and oils naturally produced on your hands are damaging to artworks, even sculpture and furniture.
