Join us at Bloom Restaurant for a delicious afternoon that explores the connection between food and storytelling in a cozy setting.
About this Event

Let's explore how food and storytelling intertwine. Food is more than just something we eat; it carries memories, traditions, and stories passed down through generations.

Learning about food culture helps us feel connected to our family roots, sparks curiosity about the world, and teaches the values of love, sharing, and togetherness.

WHAT WE WILL DO:

Weโ€™ll explore food through sharing recipes, stories, and traditions that can be shared in the kitchen or around the dinner table. We will also take a leisurely walk in the neighborhood until the food simmers. So please WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES and be prepared to walk and talk, and share your observations with new friends.

For the last part of the event, we will eat our culture's food together and share stories that are associated with the culture and its foods. If you are comfortable, BRING an INGREDIENT from your heritage and SHARE a story about what makes it so valuable to you.

We will be using a crockpot - no open flame. If you have food allergies/food requirements, please let us know in advance. We will be creating a CULTURAL HERITAGE RECIPE and placing it in a DREAMBOX for safekeeping.

Your ticket includes:

- One drip coffee or hot tea

- Art supplies

- Networking and resources

- A home-cooked meal

- A community of new, like-minded folks

- A Dreambox

- A one-time consultation

**LET'S EXPLORE TOGETHER:**

1. How can we cultivate, create, and learn through our edible masterpieces?

2. In what ways can we come together to share and savor our culinary delights?

3. How can food-focused initiatives inspire a community spirit that fosters love in action?

Benefits of Sharing Food Culture Stories

  • Builds community
  • Preserves cultural heritage
  • Sparks creativity and imagination
  • Strengthens empathy and gratitude

Turning Recipes into Memories

Food culture stories remind us that recipes are more than instructions; they are treasures that bring communities closer. By sharing stories about what we eat, we can nurture our imaginations while discovering we have more in common than our differences.

So, come hungry! Youโ€™re not just feeding your stomach, youโ€™re feeding your heart with stories.
