About this Event
Music! What did ancient people use it for? What was their music like? How do we know? Could it be a kind of first language? In this workshop, children will explore ancient music-making and the creation of musical instruments in the ancient world.
Children will connect their modern music experiences to ancient sources, explore the artifacts at the ISAC Museum, experiment with hands-on materials to build instruments of their own, and compose new music in old styles.
