About this Event
What would you write if you stopped trying to write it right?
This two-hour writing workshop is an invitation to find your voice by writing more honestly than you're used to. Through short, guided writing bursts and readings from Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Anaïs Nin, and James Baldwin, you'll explore what gets in the way of your truest expression, and what it feels like to set that aside.
No writing experience is needed. No one will be asked to share anything they aren't ready to share. All you need to bring is a willingness to show up for yourself on the page. Come as you are. Leave with words that are yours.
About the instructor: Corrie Van Horne is a licensed therapist, group facilitator, and depth-oriented certified coach who believes in the transformative power of story. As the founder of Reverie, she creates spaces where writing becomes a sacred act of healing, reclamation, and self-trust.
Her work is grounded in the belief that you are the wisdom keeper of your own life. Rather than positioning herself as the expert on your experience, Corrie serves as a guide and witness - inviting you to listen inward, give language to what has been silenced, and shape your lived experience into meaning and art.
In her writing workshops, Corrie weaves together insight, reverence for the creative process, and a deep respect for the complexity of the human experience. She is especially passionate about supporting women and sapphics in transforming pain, trauma, and oppression into clarity, voice, and embodied sovereignty.
Through Reverie’s workshops and circles, participants are invited to return to their own inner knowing and creative power.
