Who is delivering the session?

Romany Taylor, Associate Lecturer, BA Textiles Design (Central Saint Martins)

Romany is an artist, gardener, and educator whose work blends textiles, storytelling, and traditional craft. Rooted in natural dyeing, tailoring, and handwork inspired by her allotment, she explores access, community, and creativity through-making. She co-runs Snooze Fabric – a project focused on art, clothing, and workshops – and teaches textiles at Central Saint Martins and Winchester School of Art.

Harriett Brown, Pathway Leader, BA Fashion Textiles Embroidery (London College of Fashion)

Harriett is an embroidery specialist, consultant, and educator with a background in luxury fashion and textile craftsmanship. Alongside teaching, Harriett consults on embroidery processes across fashion, art, and design, delivering and co-designing community projects that reflect her belief in the power of textiles to foster creativity and connection.
