Beth Tzedec proudly invites the community to a historic Symphony Gala Concert celebrating the formal Installation of Chaim Stern as The Hennick Family Senior Cantor.This landmark evening will feature an extraordinary 28-piece orchestra from the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) and reflects a profound message of unity and hope.
Conducted by Tomer Adaddi, and featuring special guest appearances by cantors Gideon Zelermyer and Rachel Brook, the program will offer a diverse musical mosaic tracing Cantor Stern’s personal journey: from his childhood in Israel and his formative service in the IDF, to his new home at Beth Tzedec.
The program spans six captivating musical chapters - blending the soul-stirring depth of Cantorial masterpieces with Israeli classics, World & Italian favourites, and the vibrant energy of Broadway.
This night promises a rare fusion of vocal excellence and symphonic grandeur, marking a new era for our Congregation, and offering an unforgettable cultural experience for the entire GTA community.
