Presented by Momas4Palestine X Glia
This International Women’s Day, we return for our second annual Iftar, inviting everyone to gather in solidarity with Gaza for a fundraiser that celebrates the life-shaping creations of Palestinian women — centring them not only as survivors, but as leaders, caregivers, and keepers of collective life.
Presented by Glia Equal Care and Mamas4Palestine, From Her Hands honours the role women have played in creating and sustaining Palestinian heritage across generations, carrying what came before while shaping what is still to come.
Set within Hamilton’s historic landmark, The Cotton Factory, the evening is grounded in the enduring spirit of shared work and collective care.
What to Expect
In the spirit of Ramadan, we will:
• Break bread over a traditional Palestinian meal
• Experience a ceremonial maqluba flip
• Engage with art and storytelling
• Learn from a panel of Palestinian women and allies
Kids are very welcome. A children’s activity area will be available, with cheese pizza offered as a dinner option.
Why This Evening Matters

• Medical delegations and staffing
• Procurement and delivery of supplies
• Clinic support and infrastructure
• Local innovation and device production
The evening includes a live fundraiser, traditional Palestinian Iftar, panel conversation, and curated art auction.
