About this Event

From Budget to Impact: What the Governor’s FY 27 Budget Means for Nonprofit brings together nonprofit leaders from across the city for an in-depth look at Governor Hochul’s FY27 budget and what it means for your organization, your workforce, and the people you serve.

This timely, hybrid event will feature a dynamic fireside chat between Nonprofit New York President and CEO Jacqueline M. Ebanks and Denise Miranda, Commissioner of the New York State Division of Human Rights. Together, they will explore the state’s budget priorities, the role of the Division in advancing equity and protecting civil rights, and how nonprofits can engage in this critical moment.

Attendees will gain:

  • Key insights into the FY27 New York State budget and its impact on the nonprofit sector
  • A deeper understanding of the Division of Human Rights and its work to ensure equitable protections for all New Yorkers
  • The opportunity to engage directly with state leadership during a live Q&A

Whether you join us in person or virtually, this briefing is designed to equip you with the knowledge and connections needed to navigate the evolving policy landscape and advocate effectively for your community. A light breakfast will be served for in-person attendees.

In-person space is limited.
