A motel. An orange, stained, wall-to-wallcarpet. Two beds stage right, one
upstage one down with a table and lamp
in between. On stage left is an old tv set
on an older dresser. Upstage there are
backpacks and duffel bags against a
vanity with a sink. Above it, a large
mirror. To the right of this is a door to an
unseen bathroom. Downstage on the
floor facing out to us is The Mother and
The Child. They are peering through the
curtains of the fourth wall....
A new play by actor, writer, and director Sean Meehan, FRISK, explores family disfunction, violence, and the sound of approaching black boots.
