Local romance bookstore (Friends to Lovers) collides with dementedly-funny cabaret (Sex Monster) for a spooky, sexy, and scholarly soiree at the National League of American Pen Women.
What better way to kick-off Halloween week than with a bookstore pop-up by Friends to Lovers, featuring their spiciest monster romances, and the "rabidly feminine" monster-themed cabaret, Sex Monster?
The soiree will also host a book signing by local romcomstery (romance+comedy+mystery) author, Carla Vergot.
Tarot readings by holistic healer, Phim Her, and artisan candles and frangrances by Southern Gothic-inspired Hemlock & Hearth will be available for purchase.
Costumes encouraged. Category is...Nerdy and Flirty. Don those glasses and cardigans. We want to see your sexiest librarian, hottest professor, and sauciest NPR listener.
