About this Event
Our beginner courses are designed for people at the start of their sewing career. Over a four weeks beginner course you will work on a bespoke apron, chosen to teach you a range of basic skills. You will learn to use a pattern, cut fabric, and set up and use basic stitches on a sewing machine.
You will also have the opportunity to add your own individual touches to suit your style and needs, learners often add fabric from their well-loved, but past their best, clothes. With our small class sizes, you will have personalised guidance and support. By the end of the course you will have developed the base skills and confidence needed to pursue your next project. Aspiring sewers have chosen to continue on courses with us, working on new projects that consolidate their foundation skills.
