About this Event
Join us for Friday Night Life as we dance the night away to house music and vibes by DJs Maurice Wilkey and Kenny Bailey. The final weekend of our 20 Questions for 20 Years celebration is all about movement—Rehearsing and Performing the Everyday. We invite you to come together for a night of community, play, and dance.
As part of the evening, we’re featuring a Sing-o-Gram Service:
SING-O-GRAM: Is there something you wish you’d said? A moment you kept silent, a time your voice would have mattered, a lingering regret from yesterday or a decade ago? Pedro Reyes’ “Sing-o-Gram” intervention revives the long-forgotten singing telegram, with local performers—from clowns to drag performers—delivering your message through song. In an era dominated by text and emoji, Reyes’s work insists on the disruptive joy of voice, theater, and human contact.

ABOUT FNL:
FRIDAY NIGHT LIFE is a free DS4SI series embodying and imagining the night life we want to collectively build in Boston. As a production of the Design Gym, we invite our community to partner with us to host spaces of joy, belonging and just all around fun. How would you want to imagine and create Boston's night life? Is it a poetry slam, or a live band and some food? Dancing in the park? A mini concert in your neighborhood? A silent film? A paint night under the stars? What could we design together?
