Friday Morning Yoga + Meditation at Castlefield Viaduct
Start your day with Emma in the garden at Castlefield Viaduct for 45 minutes of yoga and movement outside in the fresh air. Hosted above the streets, in Manchester's garden in the sky, Castlefield Viaduct.
This morning class aims to help you awaken the body and calm the mind, set in the peaceful setting of the Viaduct garden, in the morning before it is open to the public. Emma's classes are accessible, beginner friendly and open to all!
Please bring your own mat if you have one.

About the Location:
The National Trust opened Castlefield Viaduct in July 2022. This was a pilot scheme to test out the views and opinions of the public on the future of the 1892 railway structure, closed since 1969.
The response has been amazing.
You have visited in your thousands, exploring its history and beauty and enjoying the 3000 plants, trees and flowers in this garden in the sky.
Many of the city’s stories are buried in and around this viaduct; more are yet to be written.
From the Romans marching in around 79AD, through to the ‘shock city’ of the industrial age and the evolving 21st century skyline -this has Manchester DNA written all over it.
We were delighted with the many ideas for events and activities that you told us that you would like us to try during this time and this events guide, running across spring into summer, reflects that wish list.

Visiting Castlefield Viaduct
The viaduct is open for walk-up, non-ticketed visits from Wednesday – Sunday 10.00am – 5.00pm. Please bear in mind that we have a maximum capacity on the viaduct so there may be a wait if we are busy.
