It’s perfect if you’re looking for something that still feels relaxed and social, but slightly more facilitated than our regular bar mixers. You’ll be placed into values-aligned groups based on your questionnaire responses, creating space for both romantic sparks and genuine new friendships.
💌 How Find Your Mystery Match Works
On arrival, you’ll complete a short questionnaire designed by Matchbox’s relationship scientists and curated by your host.
The algorithm then:
✨ Analyses your values and preferences
✨ Identifies your optimal mystery match at the event
✨ Guides you through fun clue-based moments
✨ Reveals your match later in the night
You must arrive before 7:45pm to be included in the AI matching.

7:00pm — Doors open & mingling begins
7:45pm — Doors close, algorithm begin calculating

💫 A Few Things to Know
Come with an open mind — the mystery is part of the magic.
If your match isn’t instant sparks, that’s okay. Matchbox prioritises long-term compatibility and shared values.
Either way, you’ll meet a gorgeous group of like-minded singles in a relaxed, respectful environment.
We aim to maintain a 50/50 gender split where possible. If numbers are uneven, some matches may be paired platonically — and in that case, you’ll receive a free ticket to a future Matchbox event of your choice.
