Based right outside of Burgundy, with all of the hedonism but none of the snobbery, Vignoble Guillaume offers a masterclass in both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, from the youthful and juicy red fruit to intense nuttiness and stone fruits.
If you were to ask any of the staff on any given day for their go-to-wine, chances are high that the answer is Guillaume Pinot Noir. There's entry-level for your Wednesday dinner, Vieilles Vignes when you want that step up in intensity, and Collection Reserve for the special occasions... or a particularly nice Friday night!
These are wines we return to again and again, for comfort and to rediscover how impressive they are, but very rarely do we get to try them in comparison to each other, to truly appreciate their contrasts and their shared traits.
Tonight's tasting will start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one hour. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
