Założony w 2024 roku przez Daisy Miles, Davey Purdie, Craiga Harknessa i Kylie MacNaughton, ten pochodzący z Glasgow zespół elektroniczny porusza tematy miłości, rozpaczy i niepewności ludzkiego doświadczenia.
Czerpiąc inspirację z EBM, darkwave i electro-popu, Mercy Girl przywołuje zarówno spokój ciemnej, pustej autostrady, jak i zatracenie się na zamglonym neonami parkiecie tanecznym.
Od momentu powstania w listopadzie 2024 roku zespół zgromadził globalną publiczność, a także rzeszę fanów w Internecie. Ich muzyka jest regularnie grana i wykorzystywana do promowania klubowych imprez dark scene wszędzie, od Los Angeles po Berlin.
Zespół wyprzedał bilety na swój debiutancki koncert w The Hug and Pint w Glasgow i dzielił scenę z Justinem Warfieldem (She Wants Revenge) podczas wyprzedanego koncertu w Oslo w Hackney w Londynie. Ich najnowszy singiel „No Sound” został wybrany utworem tygodnia w BBC 6 Music, a BBC Introducing Scotland udzieliło zespołowi silnego wsparcia, poświęcając mu cały artykuł w ramach cyklu „Artysta tygodnia”.

Formed in 2024 by members Daisy Miles, Davey Purdie, Craig Harkness and Kylie MacNaughton, the Glasgow based electronic outfit explore themes of love, despair and the uncertainty of the human experience.
Taking inspiration from EBM, Darkwave and Electro-Pop, Mercy Girl invokes both the solace of a dark empty highway, and the surrender of a neon-hazed dancefloor.
Since launching in November 2024, the band have amassed a global audience and a cult online following. Having their music regularly played at, and being used to promote dark scene club nights everywhere from Los Angeles to Berlin.
The band sold out their debut headline show in The Hug and Pint in Glasgow and have shared the stage with Justin Warfield (She Wants Revenge) at a sold out Oslo in Hackney, London. Their latest single ‘No Sound’ was featured as Track of the Week on BBC 6 Music, alongside strong support from BBC Introducing Scotland with an Artist of the Week full feature.
