About this Event
This all-ages class will teach participants different ways of identifying birds from a Bird Nerd, Kate Houlne, who has been identifying birds species for 25 years.
Participants are asked to dress for the outdoors and be prepared for some moderate hiking (it's tick season so closed-toe shoes, pants, and bug spray are recommended as are water, snacks, binoculars if you have them, and a way to take notes). We will plan to meet at the Pavilion and head out into the forest (weather-permitting). If the weather isn't cooperative, we will stay at the shelter.
Class is FREE, but limited to 20 participants so please register. If you have registered and can no longer attend, PLEASE CANCEL your registration so that someone else may take your place. NO PETS.
