Freedom First and WDBJ7 are hosting quarterly community donation drives in downtown Roanoke to benefit our neighbors. Our first Freedom to Give nonprofit partner is the Boys & Girls Clubs of SWVA. This drive will be supporting their 2026 summer camps across all 9 club locations.The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia has asked for the following items for their 2026 summer camp programs.
Sealed, individually packaged snacks:
Goldfish crackers
Pretzels
Granola bars
Nutri-Grain bars
Popcorn
Veggie straws
Cheese crackers
Applesauce pouches
Gear:
Swim goggles
Sunscreen spray
Band-Aids
Instant ice packs
Bunch-O-Balloons
Let's help keep the summer camp participants energized and nourished! Volunteers will be on-site to assist.
