What to expectJoin marine biologist and underwater photographer Danel Wentzel for an informal evening exploring two of the ocean's most rewarding pursuits — freediving and underwater photography.
Dani will share her journey from recreational scuba diver to freediver, exploring the differences between the two disciplines and why freediving opened up a whole new relationship with the ocean. She'll also walk through her photography journey — from her first GoPro to shooting professionally with a Canon R5 — and why the best camera is simply the one you have with you.
This talk is for anyone who loves the ocean, is curious about freediving, or has ever wanted to capture what they see underwater. No experience necessary. Just bring your curiosity. 🌊
