This summer, BOX Piccadilly is bringing football fans together for an unforgettable pre-tournament experience with World Cup Classics: a one-night-only live orchestral celebration of the music that defines the beautiful game.

Taking place on Wednesday 10th June 2026, the evening before the start of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, the immersive event will transform BOX into the ultimate football soundtrack experience, celebrating the iconic songs, chants and anthems that have become inseparable from football culture across generations.

From World in Motion and Three Lions (It’s Coming Home) to unforgettable tournament soundtracks like Waka Waka, football has always had a musical heartbeat. Whether it’s the roar of terrace chants, the rhythm of a stadium drummer or the unmistakable Champions League anthem, music has long united fans around the world and World Cup Classics will put that spirit centre stage.

In partnership with a London-based pocket orchestra, BOX Piccadilly will host eight live musicians performing a curated setlist of football classics and fan favourites, with a particular focus on the powerful brass arrangements that make these songs instantly recognisable.

Running from 7pm–9pm following doors at 6:30pm, the event will include:

  • Live orchestral performances of iconic football anthems
  • Classic World Cup matches shown across screens throughout the venue
  • Bookable karaoke booths which feature football classics
  • First chance to try the World Cup Platter and exclusive drinks packages
  • Complimentary tickets with limited capacity for approximately 100 guests

Designed to build excitement ahead of the opening match of World Cup 2026 on Thursday 11th June 2026, World Cup Classics promises a nostalgic, high-energy atmosphere where football and music collide in a way only BOX can deliver.
