PAX Tools for Caregivers is a 2.5 hour workshop where caregivers learn simple, trauma-informed strategies to help children build self-control, reduce challenging behaviors, and strengthen adult-child relationships. Participants will receive all the strategies and materials they need to start using PAX Tools right away with the children in their care.Who should register? Individuals caring for young people in a home setting, including parents, grandparents, foster parents, adoptive parents, and legal guardians.
Participants will learn how to utilize eight strategies in their everyday interactions with young people that are proven to:
-Address common behavioral challenges
-Reduce conflict and strengthen relationships
-Create reliable and consistent expectations
-Make time together more Peaceful, Productive, Healthy and Happy for all.
