About this Event
This hands-on workshop offers an introduction to the OLSK Scanner V2.5, a high-performance object scanner designed for precision and detail. Participants will learn to operate the scanner, which features a full aluminum frame for stability, a 16-megapixel camera for capturing sharp images, and a polypropylene cover for added durability. With programmable RGB lighting, the machine allows for controlled lighting environments, ensuring high-quality scans.
The OLSK Scanner V2.5 can handle objects up to 300mm in size and capture up to 900 images per scan, providing exceptional detail for 3D modeling, design, and documentation. Through this workshop, attendees will understand the basics of scanning, setting up objects, and optimizing scan quality using the software provided.
By the end of the session, participants will be comfortable using the machine to scan a variety of objects and will have gained insights into advanced features such as RGB lighting customization and scan optimization.
This introductory workshop is ideal for those in design, fabrication, or anyone interested in 3D scanning technology.
