About this Event
Dulwich Picture Gallery invites Social Prescribers and Link Workers to attend a free training workshop exploring cultural social prescribing, its relevance and value. The session is designed to develop understanding of creative health opportunities and to build confidence in holding conversations with clients.
In this half-day workshop, participants will:
- Enjoy an active learning experience with an artist
- Reflect on ways that engaging with arts and culture can benefit health and wellbeing
- Consider connections between arts opportunities and key issues faced by clients
- Hear about new opportunities for social prescribing of arts & culture via the Dulwich Picture Gallery's creative programmes
- Practise strategies for self-care and resilience

This course is suitable for all link workers, especially, but not exclusively, those in Southwark, Lambeth and Lewisham - boroughs local to the gallery.
The course is free to attend but places are limited, so booking is essential.
Participants of all levels of experience are welcome to attend.
