About this Event

FREE TRAINING: HEALTHY MASCULINITY IN MERTON

This January, Voicebox are teaming up with Merton Borough Council’s Safer Merton team and the AFC Wimbledon Foundation to deliver a free training session focusing on helping boys thrive, challenging unhelpful versions of masculinity, and sparking positive change in our communities.

This interactive session is ideal for sports organisations, primary and secondary school teachers, youth workers, and anyone working with young people.

Led by Voicebox co-founder Andy Hill, the session will explore:

The experiences and pressures faced by boys today
The influence of social media on ideas of manhood and masculinity
How to promote and model healthy masculinity
Practical strategies for recognising and addressing harmful behaviours and attitudes

We hope you'll leave the session with greater confidence, tools, and resources to create supportive and safe environments where all young people feel encouraged to be the best versions of themselves.
