About this Event
We're delighted to welcome back Dr Lan Guo, a qualified professional Tai Chi instructor, for another series of Tai Chi and Qigong sessions this June (every Tuesday 5:15-6:00pm from 9-30 June). Registration opens three weeks before each session.
Originated as a martial art for self-defence, Tai Chi has evolved into a graceful, low-impact practice combining mindful movement, stretching, breathing, and relaxation. Alongside it, Qigong is an ancient Chinese health tradition rooted in medicine and meditation, focusing on breath awareness, gentle movement, and the cultivation of life energy (qi).
Together, they offer a perfect balance of movement and stillness and can help reduce stress and anxiety, sharpen focus, and boost overall wellbeing.
In just 45 minutes, enjoy a gentle, refreshing blend of Tai Chi and Qigong to calm your mind, relax your body, and spark creative thinking — all in a warm, supportive setting.

- Ba Duan Jin Qigong ("Eight Brocades")
- Chen‑style Tai Chi Essential 18 Forms
