Free Spirit of the Sea Official Launch and Naming Ceremony

Join us for a wonderful afternoon as we celebrate the launch and official naming of Free Spirit, a community boat based in Portsmouth.

Guests will gather at Wildwood from 13:00 for drinks and a chance to enjoy the occasion together before heading over to the boat at 13:40.

At 14:00, we’ll mark this special moment with the official naming, speeches, and the traditional champagne celebration.

Afterward, Free Spirit will make her first journey through the lock gates and moor on the outer jetty, ready to welcome guests aboard.

Throughout the afternoon, invitees will have the chance to enjoy a free memorable 30 minute harbour tour. Experience for yourself this incredible multipurpose floating therapy area, classroom and research platform. Meanwhile everyone at Wildwood continues the celebrations with raffle tickets, meet the incredible team and ask questions, a prize draw, and plenty of community spirit.
