Attention Seniors!
Join Heart Comonos every Tuesday morning for our FREE senior's fitness classes, suitable for those aged 55+.
These classes are perfect for seniors who are looking to get out of the house, move their body and maybe even make some new friends.
Starting Tuesday October 7th, we will be hosting TWO fitness classes at 67 Hillcrest Avenue (Heart Comonos Facility). There will be a morning class from 10 to 11 a.m. and an afternoon class from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sign up for a section that works best for you!
Additional information:
- Modifications will be offered for those with joint issues and physical limitations stemming from surgery or injury.
- A variety of equipment will be used in addition to the participants own body weight.
- We will include some work on the mat as well as standing— although many standing exercises can be performed in a chair if that works better for you.
- Participants have the option of whether or not to use weights.
- Functional exercises will be included
- Every class will include a beginning warm up and cool down/stretching at the end
- Suitable for all levels.
All classes in this series are beginner- friendly. Any equipment that is needed will be provided. Wear comfortable clothing and bring water as needed. Come as you are - all abilities welcome!
Please arrive 15 minutes early for each class as all classes will begin on time.
