✨ This FRIDAY 3/27 is a College Basketball Tournament 1000- Drone Show at Discovery Meadow ✨
Sky Elements will present a drone light show for the community celebrating hoops history in San Jose.
The show will take place at Discovery Meadow, with both the launch site and public viewing areas located in and around the park in downtown San Jose.
The drone show has a 12-minute runtime and is scheduled for Friday, March 27 at 9:15 PM — about 15 minutes after the DJ Diesel concert ends and a 10–15 minute walk from San Pedro.
The performance will be synchronized to a custom soundtrack featuring music and voiceovers, showcasing San Jose's rich basketball legacy — starting with women's basketball history, including the San Jose Lasers and the Valkyries' sold-out playoff game at SAP Center, plus memorable college basketball tournament moments hosted at SAP Center over the years.
👀 Where to Watch
- Viewing will be on the grass throughout Discovery Meadow
- For the best experience, stand anywhere facing north toward the open sky
- We recommend spreading out across the lawn for clear sightlines
- Bring a blanket or jacket — it's a chill, look-up kind of night
