Casino (sometimes called Cuban Salsa) is a partner dance developed in Cuba and Rueda de Casino is a style of group dance in which dancers form a large circle, or “una rueda” (a wheel), and all dance the same casino moves together when the “caller” tells them. Rueda is a fun way to build community and learn how to dance in a low-pressure setting, and it provides you with some moves to try out on the social floor with a partner later!
