Open mic comedy featuring new and old comedians performing in Mt Eden on Saturday afternoons.90 to 120 minutes, of live, in-person, stand-up comedy on the stage behind the car park at 250 Mt Eden Road in Tahaki Reserve featuring Auckland comedians at a variety of levels performing for you. You never know what you’ll get, but it’s always fun. We even encourage people who have never tried comedy before to stand up & give it a go.
In Autumn & Winter outdoor events such as this are weather dependent. For short duration light rain we can shelter on the stage and even continue. Long duration or heavy rain may force cancellation.
Bring something to sit on and a water bottle. Snacks can be good also. It’s hard to hear laughter over rumbling stomachs. If you want to consume alcohol you will need to bring your own.
Park Comedy gigs are Open Mics, you are most welcome to watch and laugh, or you can book a spot on the microphone through our form at https://ql.nz/oms24 or just ask the MC for a spot on the day and we’ll do our best to fit you in. Performers at all levels of experience are warmly welcomed.
As an open mic we can't control the jokes that individual comedians tell, parental discretion is advised.
