Unfortunately we've had to cancel the rest of the Winter Series, too cold and the spring showers seem to be gathering strength. See you all in the Summer.Open mic comedy featuring jokes never before performed in Parnell on Saturday afternoons.
90 to 120 minutes, of live, in-person, stand-up comedy in Auckland Domain near or on the Pavilion featuring Auckland comedians at a variety of levels performing for you. You never know what you’ll get, but it’s always fun. We even encourage people who have never tried comedy before to stand up & give it a go.
In Autumn & Winter outdoor events such as this are weather dependent. For moderate rain we can perform in the pavilion. Very heavy rain may force cancellation.
Bring something to sit on and a water bottle. Snacks can be good also. It’s hard to hear laughter over rumbling stomachs. If you want to consume alcohol you will need to bring your own.
Park Comedy gigs are Open Mics, you are most welcome to watch and laugh, or you can book a spot on the microphone through our form at https://ql.nz/oms24 or just ask the MC for a spot on the day and we’ll do our best to fit you in. Performers at all levels of experience are warmly welcomed.
As an open mic we can't control the jokes that individual comedians tell, parental discretion is advised.
