Free Mini Quilt Workshop!

Learn the basics of quilting by making a tiny, coaster-sized quilt, also known as a “mug rug.” These tiny quilts have the same components as a full-size quilt, just on a smaller scale, so they’re an approachable first project for anyone curious about quilting. Our quilts will be 5”x5”.

You’ll learn how to assemble a “quilt sandwich” and stitch through a quilt to keep it all together. For this project, we’ll use a method that doesn’t require you to bind the edges of the quilt with bias tape, making it a little faster and easier than traditional quilts. We’ll be sewing with a machine and by hand in this workshop.
