About this Event
Join us April 25th for a curated 1990s themed cafe night! We will have live music performed by Naomi Renae, fresh vegan pastries and coffee by Pastry Pang, a typewriting poetry station, art on display and for purchase from local artists, a CD burning demonstration, photoshoot opportunity with 90s clothing provided by Thrifting and Gathering, disposable cameras, and authentic 90s technology and media for display and use (think magazines, newspapers, VHS television, and more!).
We highly discourage the use of your phone during this event, but won't stop you <3
We just want to try and bring people together over a cup of joe.
The event is free to enter before 7pm. After 7pm there is a cover for our vocalist, NaomiRenae. $5 online, or $10 at the door. You will receive a stamp for re-entry.

It's Winter 1999. Enya is playing over the speaker as you sip a hot mocha from a white ceramic mug. You're gingerly flipping through a magazine and taking in the ambient sounds of the espresso machine, muted conversations, and someone typing on their typerwriter. The air smells of fresh coffee, Cucumber Melon, and tomato soup. No one is on their phone as its either at home attached to a cord, or its the size of a novel. The song changes to a new artist. You'll have to ask the barista for their name and search it up when you get home. You just figured out how to use this new software called Napster. You're for sure going to burn this song on to a CD and share it with your friends.
