About this Event
The Line wellbeing walk at IFS Cloud Cable Car
The Line, East London’s public art walk, is collaborating with IFS Cloud Cable Car to host a free wellbeing walk around the Greenwich Peninsula, followed by a wellbeing activity and free hot drinks. The Line stretches along waterways and the Greenwich Meridian from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford to The O2 at North Greenwich. This walk will cover the Greenwich section of the route, which includes 6 monumental sculptures by renowned artists, located along the Thames Path.
Being outdoors in nature and by the water is an opportunity to reflect, slow down, and prioritise your wellbeing. The walk will last about one hour and move at a gentle pace, with pauses along the way to observe, listen and breathe.
The walk will end at the IFS Cloud Cable Car terminal where you will be able to enjoy a free tea or coffee at the Cable Car Experience. You are then welcome to take a complimentary round-trip on the cable car, lasting 20 minutes.
The walk is free, but booking is required.
What to expect:
- The walk is a non-judgmental space and welcoming to all
- Please wear appropriate footwear and weather appropriate clothes – it is likely to be very cold so layer up and wear a hat, scarf and gloves!
- Please bring water with you for the walk
- The route is wheelchair-accessible and buggy-friendly
*Due to extreme weather conditions the event may be cancelled at a short notice.
