The film premiere of "Where we Danced: History of Social Danced". A three-part series that chronicles the evolution of American social dance. It tells the story of America's dance through the lives of the dancers who shaped the art form as well as the places they danced. Director. Brian Lucky Skillen.
STAY afterwards: A panel discussion follows with Harlem Dance Legends Sonny Allen and Barbara Billups (Savoy Ballroom/ Sonny Allen and the Rockets) with David Butts and Debra Youngblood (Mama Lu Parks Jazz Dancers). They will tell their experiences of where THEY danced, and how they are still keeping Harlem's Lindy Hop Legacy alive

The Harlem Swing Dance Society (THSDS) is the premiere Harlem organization (non profit) leading in preserving, promoting, propagating and protecting Lindy Hop and Swing Dance Culture in the village of Harlem.
