About this Event
Hosted by Embodied Being Retreats, this is an invitation to experience the magic of Cacao and the power of community flow with a *free* cacao and yoga circle to celebrate the fall equinox!
This event will be held on the fall equinox; a time of transition from summer to fall and a moment to reflect on the seeds we have watered during the summer months and harvest we wish to cultivate in the fall season. When we call in the Spirit of Cacao in conjunction with intentional meditation and embodied yoga movement, we open up pathways for communication with the Divine. In this conversation, we declare our intentions for growth, release and transformation in the season ahead!
The Circle will begin with a brief history of Cacao followed by a guided meditation, yoga practice and time for reflections. This event is open and welcoming to all.
Embodied Being Retreats, the spirit child of Esme Fussell and Lydia Peacock, is a vibrant community dedicated to building a safe and welcoming space where individuals can reconnect with and rediscover their true essence. Our retreats emphasize that the holistic practice is already present within each individual, waiting to be recognized and cultivated. We look forward to connecting with you in the Embodied Being Retreats community!

ABOUT CACAO:
Cacao is a superfood that originates from Central and South America. Historically, it was used in ceremonies and daily life by the Olmec, Mayan and Aztec empires.
Cacao contains a number of “bliss compounds”, including Theobromine, PEA and Anandamide. It also contains the highest concentration of antioxidants and magnesium of any food in the world. Typically, Cacao contains caffeine levels of about 12mg/1tbsp, or half the amount of an average cup of coffee. Cacao provides a sustained energy experience without the crash of other caffeinated products. Guatemalan Cacao has some of the lowest levels of caffeine of any Cacao fruit.
When mixed into a ceremonial beverage, Cacao holds properties to open and expand the heart.
Contraindications: People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, those who are taking antidepressant medications, or individuals with high blood pressure should take caution when consuming Cacao. It is recommended to speak with a healthcare professional if there are any questions or concerns.
