About this Event
Welcome to Channel B's second music workshop event in Manchester!
Date: 27th April 2024
Location: Feel Good Club
Nine Nights TV is a cultural movement. A Black-owned music programming, education, and consultancy business, dedicated to creating an ecosystem for Black alternative electronic music artists within the music and art space.
What began as a lockdown livestream series has evolved into a multifaceted initiative extending beyond the screen and into atypical performance spaces across London.
Whether it's a groundbreaking takeover of The Institute of Contemporary Arts London, creating structural and video art installation music performances, taking over listed building courtyards, or putting on club nights to support UK grassroots venues, we have captivated audiences and gained recognition on platforms like Boiler Room Labs, Mixcloud, and Resident Advisor.
Having showcased over 40 artists, ranging from emerging talents to seasoned names such as Obonjayer, Nkisi, Novelist, Covco and more we're dedicated to spotlighting diverse electronic music from live performance art to the club scene. But our impact extends far beyond the stage; we're empowering the next generation of artists with workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities that ignite inspiration and drive. We are bringing a workshop to Manchester, to create a space for networking and learning diving deep into the northern club scene with Black artists from the North and further afield to share their knowledge on the music industry finishing with an open decks session led by Nine Nights a perfect place to network over your excellent beat selection.
Open to all over 16s only
