Join our Creative Fashion Design workshop, a welcoming and supportive creative space where fashion, wellbeing, creativity, and community come together.
Join our 7-week Fashion Design Workshop, created especially for students studying Art and Design (Fashion) who want extra support ahead of their exams. Delivered by our CICs at the Edmonton Green library, the programme is designed to complement the current curriculum while helping students build confidence, develop creative techniques, strengthen portfolio work, and refine their design process. Through guided practical sessions and industry-inspired projects, students will gain valuable skills and preparation to help them achieve their best in their final assessments.
Through guided workshops, participants will explore:
Mood boards & creative research
Cultural and visual inspiration
Design development
Pattern cutting basics
Garment construction
Creative experimentation
Fashion illustration & ideas development
Confidence-building through creative practice
Reflection and collaborative learning
The programme focuses not only on fashion skills, but also on:

Participants will work towards developing their own creative garment or fashion concept by the end of the programme.
No previous experience is required.
