NYLAUGHS + NYS BPCA PRESENTS: laughter in the city | Black History Month Laughter

Celebrate Black Voices, Black Laughter, and Black Legacy!

This Black History Month, we’re serving up a comedy night so good, it should be a national holiday. #RoyWoodJr, host of CNN's smash hit "Have I Got News For You," and former Daily Show Correspondent is our comedic griot for the evening, guiding us through Black culture, history, and all the laughs in between.

And he’s not rolling solo. Joining him are the unstoppable #MarinaFranklin, #KeniceMobley, #KeithRobinson, and #ErinJackson. Each brings the kind of jokes that’ll make you laugh so hard, you might just call it cardio.

It’s not just a comedy show; it’s a celebration of Black excellence, a showcase of comedic brilliance, and a night to remind you that sometimes, laughter REALLY IS the best history lesson. So grab a seat, bring your sense of humor, and let’s make this a Black History Month to remember before it gets cut from the curriculum.

Join us at 6 River Terrace, Battery Park City, from 7:30 to 9:00 PM for an unforgettable night of humor that's free to the public. Reservations via Eventbrite are required and seating is first come, first served.
