Join Sanjana and Shaffali for an uplifting, heartwarming children’s song circle experience designed for kids ages 5–12 and their parents or guardians. Together, we will activate our voices, sing heart-centered and uplifting songs, move our bodies, and play games! All while building a sweet sense of community and connection.
If you have been looking for a space for your child to step into their musical gifts and voice, express themselves freely, and have fun doing it, this is the experience for them! This is also the perfect space for parents to connect with other soul-aligned families and cultivate community through the timeless art of singing together.
In this experience, we will move through:

No singing experience is required – come as you are! This is a nourishing community space for families and children to connect and sing.
Encouraging children to sing is something we've done for hundreds of years. It's one of the most natural ways for kids to express themselves and tap into a deeper truth, joy, and oneness that exists within them.
A few things to know:
This event is for children ages 5–12. At least one parent or guardian must stay for the duration of the event. If you are planning to bring two or more children and they are 7 or younger, we recommend that both parents join if possible.
This is a dynamic one-hour experience filled with singing, movement, and games — so kids aren't expected to sit still the whole time! That said, this experience is best suited for children who are ready to listen and participate. If your child needs a moment to ground themselves, you're always welcome to step out of the space and come back in when you’re ready.

About Sanjana
Sanjana has been an active member of Pilgrimage of the Heart since 2021. After attending a women's song circle for 6 months to overcome her fear of singing in public, she began hosting her own song circles in 2022 to inspire others to find their voices.
Since then, Sanjana has been invited to sing at various meditation and concert events at Pilgrimage. Sanjana currently runs a free all women’s choir called Soul Bird Community Choir.
Sanjana is a student of Sri Chinmoy, an Indian spiritual teacher who encourages his students to live dynamic, musical, and creative lives. Sanjana is passionate about blending spirituality and community through her offerings.
About Shaffali
Shaffali is a mother of two, an Ayurvedic and skincare expert, and a yoga teacher who has been an active member of the health and wellness space for over 25 years. She has hosted numerous spiritual retreats and meditation events in both Bali and America. She is a member of Soul Bird Community, a space where women gather and sing. Singing with her children has been a meaningful part of her spiritual journey as a mother and it was actually her children who inspired this song circle! They wanted a space to sing and connect with other like-minded kids. Shaffali is the founder and creative director of Shaffali Skin Care, an Ayurvedic skincare company.
What is the inspiration behind the event?
Sanjana leads an all-women's spiritual choir called Soul Bird Community Choir, and Shaffali has been a member for the past year. Her two kids, ages 5 and 7, absolutely love singing the songs from choir — simple yet beautiful, heart-centered melodies with themes around peace, playfulness, confidence, and courage. Words like "Be a faith rock, your life will know no shock" and "Peace begins when we grow into an endless smile." Simple yet beautiful.
After her kids asked again and again for a children's singing group, the inspiration for this event was born! We wanted to create a space to bring kids and parents together to sing soulful, heart-centered songs — and who knows, a children's choir may just blossom from here!
