Chrissy Barosky, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LABA (MA, TX, UT), LBA (RI)
As the Chief Clinical Officer at Bierman Autism Centers, Chrissy brings a wealth of experience, having worked in ABA since 2008 and in developmental disabilities since 2005. With an impressive academic and professional background, Chrissy leads with expertise in early language acquisition, staff training, and client outcomes. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Simmons University, sharing her knowledge through teaching and conference presentations.
Emily Roche
Emily, VP of Contracting at Bierman, has been an industry leader in payer contracting and revenue management since 2012. She is passionate about public policy, advocacy for ABA therapy, and sharing her expertise through national conferences. With a masterâs degree in health administration and a decade of experience, Emilyâs insights make her an invaluable guide in navigating payer systems and funding challenges.
Katie Dzurec
Katie Dzurec is a former regulator who has helped lead efforts to address health coverage access and compliance issues. In addition, Katie has directed inter-agency and inter-state collaboration on mental health parity enforcement and compliance efforts. She is regarded as a subject matter expert in the areas of healthcare reform, mental health parity, and health market conduct examinations.
Katie is currently Director for Public Policy Outreach at the American Academy of Actuaries, and she has served as a regulatory consultant, as Assistant General Counsel for the DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority, and as Senior Advisor to the Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner. She holds a B.A. degree in linguistics from the University of Oregon, a law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law, a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Maine, and a Master of Laws in Insurance from the University of Connecticut.
