Artist Brian Despain presents an historical and personal exploration into the nebulous world of surrealism. This talk is in conjunction with the Delusions show in the Gallery at Graphite, March 7-April 25, 2026.
Brian Despain Bio:
Bio: Brian Despain is an American artist renowned for his intricate, symbol-rich paintings that fuse fantasy with narrative depth. Once working principally in graphic design and 3D modeling and illustrating for the gaming industry, he now devotes most of his talent to creating rich allegorical oil paintings. Living in the Puget Sound area, he is represented locally by Roq La Rue Gallery in Seattle, and exhibits both nationally and internationally.See more of his work at his website: despainart.com.
