Join for a free AMH test and in-person educational session designed for competitive and elite athletes.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn about fertility, ovarian reserve, and how intense training can intersect with reproductive health—all in a supportive, low-pressure setting.
We are inviting competitive or elite female athletes, ages 18–35, who have been actively competing for more than one year, to receive a FREE AMH Test at our Portland clinic.
Attendance at the event does not require participation in a research study. For those who are interested, there will be an optional opportunity to take part in a research study once you arrive.

The term “female athletes” is used by OHSU in their study title for research classification purposes and is reflected here for consistency. Spring Fertility welcomes and affirms people of all gender identities and expressions, including transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse individuals.
Who can participate
- Competitive or elite athletes
- Ages 18–35
- Actively competing for 1+ years
- Individuals with ovaries (You don't need to identify as female)
What you’ll do
- Attend a Spring Fertility research session
- Review and sign a brief consent form
- Complete a short (~10-minute) survey
- Receive a simple blood test to measure AMH levels
- Review and discuss your results with
Why participate
AMH is a hormone that can offer insight into ovarian reserve. This study aims to better understand how training demands and energy availability may relate to fertility markers in athletes—while also giving participants personalized information and the opportunity to ask questions with a fertility specialist.
Optional Research Opportunity
Spring Fertility is collaborating with Oregon Health & Science University on a research study exploring how athletic training patterns and attitudes toward health relate to fertility markers—specifically Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) levels—and low energy availability in athletes.
Eligible attendees can choose to participate in the study during the event, but participation is completely optional and not required to attend.
