Steve Wade (Little River Band) back at arcobar for a FREE EVENT on a Friday afternoon to perform songs from his expansive career
Highly regarded and known as a “singer’s singer”, by his peers in the music industry, Steve has also gained a strong reputation as a performer, composer, vocal coach, guitarist, producer and music director. Many of you would have already heard Steve’s voice and Guitar playing on T.V or radio, as it appears on literally thousands of Commercials and jingle’s. His voice has been used for almost all of the major company ad campaigns in this country.....ie, McDonalds, Myer, Woolworths, Coles, Mobil, Qantas, Gillette, Mars, Telstra, to name a few. Steve has also added his voice to many U.S and Asian commercials.
For the last part of the ‘90’s, Steve spent most of his time in the United States and Europe touring as Lead Singer/Guitarist with the Little River Band. Playing over 150 shows each year, they travelled extensively throughout the U.S, with the highlight being a performance on ‘The Today Show- Summer series concert’ with Katie Kouric in New York City.
He also co-wrote and performed “History Of Rock” at Hamer Hall, for the Melbourne Arts Centre for 13 years beginning in 1997. The show was a spectacular event hosted By Peter Rowsthorn (“Kath & Kim”) and including a 6 piece band and 40 dancers from The VCA.
Steve has also run Songwriting/Vocal workshops at VCA and Numerous other secondary colleges around the country. He was also choir director at JMC music college in Melbourne.
Over the years, he has worked either, in the Studio, on T.V or live with artists such as, Kylie Minogue, Olivia Newton-John, Tina Arena, Ross Wilson, Dragon, Men at Work, Yothu Yindi, Bert Newton, Lindsay Field, Renee Geyer and many more. Steve continues his work as, Session Singer, Vocal coach, Composer, guitar player and performer in Australia and overseas.

- The event will be held outdoors on the lawns of arcobar, with unreserved lawn area seating
- It is recommended that you bring a picnic blanket, cushions, bean bag or low rising picnic chairs.
- You are not permitted to bring any glass bottles or alcohol to this event - Food & Drink facilities are available on the lawn area
- As this is an outdoor event, we cannot guarantee weather conditions. This is weather dependent event which may be moved indoors on short notice due to adverse weather conditions.
